The E220D is a real turd @ 94HP but amazing fuel economy with a 6-speed. Thanks for sharing.

No AC....

Also the lucas rotary distributor injection pump is not very reliable.

Manual trans, manual HVAC, trailer hitch, I would be all over it if I didn't already have too many cars. I have a 606 donor ready to swap into the manual car.

Chances are good it's a former taxi.

According to a German guy I know who travels frequently there (wholesales parts, brings back campers to sell), almost all cars delivered in that spec are cabs.

I asked because I rode in them as taxis in the Czech republic and thought they seemed neat from that exposure. He told me to forget even trying to look.
