My center wood panle broke on my 84 300sd the other day. I found a new center panle in my parts boxes. I think it's out of a 300sdl. It's a match other than the window switches. I think I can wire them in no problem. But I'm wondering if you guys have tried it before.

Are you saying that the 84 switches don't fit the 87 panel? I wouldn't spend a lot of time rigging the wires or switches but a friend of mine is a good wood worker and could modify the panel. got pics?

85SD 240K & stopped counting painted, putting bac together. 84SD 180,000. sold to a neighbor and member here but I forget his handle. The 84 is much improved from when I had it. 85TD beginning to repair to DD status. Lots of stuff to do.
