Tach from 300D to 300TD
 
Up here in the nw burbs of Chicago parts cars around here are hard to find but one made it on CL in a town over.

What I was wondering if I can take a tach out of a '84 300D and install it in my '81 TD?

What do I have to pull besides the cluster itself?

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't 84 300d tach take signal of the flywheel? It seems it'd be quite an undertaking.
