there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

What did happen? What were they spraying in it?

(I figured it was going to end with some of them in the water).

Here's a redneck tire inflator:

Starting fluid bead set. Redneck tire inflater. - YouTube

Caution!! Make sure your neck is red enough!

(I've done this on riding mower tires and it works quite well. Take note of the proper technique.)

That was 80% of the problem. They were not spraying it in. Notice the amount of overspray visible from the camera.
