Hella + Depo = Love Child?

I was so upset about the whole headlight fiasco, put the Hella headlights in the patio. Then had family stuff happen, and now one of the reflectors is bad.

On the Hella headlights, the only good parts is the external housing and vacuum adjustment. I am thinking since the issue with Depo, take part of the Depo guts and use them to replace the reflector housing mount and the glass. Think it work?

Thank y'all for your help!

Some of us don't recall your story with the Hella headlights, so can you elaborate?

If you mean the Hellas with the round lights (Hella also made the big square lens style), I highly doubt the guts will interchange. If it's the square Hellas, probably a decent chance.

Zacharias, thank you so very much for the help!

I bought a set of Hella headlights and came smashed to bits. Seller was allowed to get away by evilBay. So tried again with a single unit. Packed well, but the insides didn't, so when dropped, the housing broke. This time got in contact with the seller, but disappeared, and again evilBay won.

Please folks, never use evilBay! It is a lie you will ever get money back if there is an issue. Further, insurance only covers the seller, and the buyer can't file a claim. I have literally lost thousands.

I am talking about the rectangular units, as the rounds are super rare.

At least we learned something...

Well, turns out Depo glass is smaller than O.E.M.! There are other issues, so think the best bet is get replacement glass. For now, will go back to Depo. On the Hella headlight there was the body plug. So played with one of the connectors, and found if I pinched it down, the connection was much better! That would have been nice to know two hours ago...
