Here it goes-91' 300d turbo w/121 miles. Original paint, no body work, cold A/C, all accessories work. It has new tires and most service stamps. It was a 1 owner until 11/01. The second owner lost his job and has decided to go out on his own. He needs a truck for this new adventure. He loves the car. He wants $8000 and he is pretty firm I may talk him down to $7800-$7900 but that will be it.

My question-Does this sound like a good deal? I think book value is over $10k. It is nice. I just wanna good deal. Any suggestions would be great!

Take it to an experienced MB mechanic and have a compression test done, and have the rest checked out. If you have a good healthy engine and the rest of the car is strong, I would think $8k or so is a good deal. Jim

The 300D 2.5 turbo is a good car and 8k is a very fair price if the car is as you describe.

I think that $8,000 is a great price, but then again I am biased!!!!

That's a great price-if the injection pump and vacuum pump have been replaced or rebuilt, then it's an even better deal-no way I'd let mine go for anywhere near that ('92, 125k miles)
