1987 300D automatic transmission yoke nut
Does anyone know the size of the nut holding the yoke on the back of the automatic transmission on a 1987 300D? Thank you.

Thanks. No wonder I couldn't find a socket to fit. I don't have that size - yet!

Get a deep one to make sure it fits over the pointy bit.
(Technical term for this bit) Picture borrowed from this thread http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/tech-help/344618-722-369-tear-down.html (722.3 and 722.4 have same size yoke nut) You might also be better off with an impact socket if you are using air tools on it.
