Can someone who has or had a w123 Coupe confirm for me what the parts listings seem to be saying: that the REAR window regulator will work for either side?

The same part number is listed for both sides for the rear regulator on the atlanta dealer parts lookup.

No, they are different. The left rear regulator is 120 670 15 03 and the right rear regulator is 123 670 16 03.

Here is my follow up Q: why does the arm on the one I have, have both of those part numbers on the arm?

The arm has the Brose wordmark with the two w123 part numbers.

The body is stamped with 126 725 04 11.

Can you help me out on that?

The w123 numbers are stamped upside down to each other on the arm. The w126 part number is on the regulator body.

Wondering what I have here.

The w126 part number on the body doesn't show up in any listings and the two w123 part numbers on the arm aren't hugely helpful....
