1985 300D Turbo Fuel Gauge Acting Strange
While driving down the road, my fuel gauge went from E to F a few times- kind of flickering- then went to E and stayed there.
2 days later, it hops back to life. I don't necessarily trust it, of course. And I need to get it straight. Where to begin? Thanks in advance.

You probably need to remove the Fuel Sending Unit and clean the gunk out of it.
Here is a good thread that covers it. http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/277167-w123-300d-fuel-tank-sender-question.html Charlie
