WVO User In Wilmington, NC Area?

Asking for a reason. We have a gallon of olive oil that's slightly funky, enough so that we don't want to cook with it. It kinda got away from us. Anyhow, free to someone who will burn it up.

Dan

Just a gallon? Pour it in your tank. Any diesel driver would be fine to just run a gallon of SVO in a full tank of diesel...

I was wondering if that would be OK in the Dodge. Because of the cold weather I was a bit concerned with it gelling - olive oil will gell (or is that "jell?") in the 'Fridge so I know it can happen. Maybe I'll wait 'till it warms up a bit and pour it in.

Hey Dan,

I'm not sure you can burn olive oil. I would double check that.

I know in cooking, olive oil vaporizes at a lower temp than canola... so it burns instead of caramelizing the food... not sure how that would equate to fuel though.

Is it even missable with #2d? I would try that first if it does not kickout a half gal per tank should not affect it, other than killing some of the diesel BTUs.
