do these become jammed?
This is my left front turn signal. For some reason this plug refuses to come out. It rotates about 5-10 degrees but that's it. Pulls out somewhat on one side but the other is stuck. I feel I would break it before it came free.
I can live without one front blinker but I thought I'd ask if it's possible some dummy jammed the wrong bulb socket in there (not sure if that's possible, just a thought.) At some point I'll grab a socket at a yard before attempting to pry this one out. |

It's an '83 300D (Sorry. Not sure why it does not show up in my profile thing.) |

Push the socket in and turn. Should release and pull out to give access to the bulb.

oh, I know how it's supposed to open. This thing is odd b/c it's jammed. Push/pull rotate 5-10 degrees back/forth, do whatever you want, it's somehow stuck. That's why I was curious if the socket might look wrong and might have been jammed in there. Unlikely, but never know.

..it was as I suspected. The left turn signal body is different from the right. It has a different female socket. Someone chiseled out a little square for the stock bulb socket to insert, however did a sub-par job and it needed to be pried out. File this away in the "nobody cares" folder.
