OM602 ALDA. Is this the correct ALDA?
Well, is it? It looks nothing like the ALDAs from other OM60X engines I've seen. In fact, I bought a 1992 300D 2.5 Turbo today for parts and the ALDA on it looks like all the others I've seen but the one on my 1993 300D 2.5 Turbo (pictured) looks like something off of an old 240D injector pump. I'm currently enjoying no boost on the '93 and was getting ready to order PN 433489-12 from atpturbo.com but wanted to get some opinions on this ALDA.
Also pictured is the 1992 300D 2.5 Turbo that followed me home today. |

That's the wrong ALDA. Either (a) remove and plug the pressure line or (b) put the proper ALDA on there. I have a couple of extras if you need one.

when you remove it, do you do just that? Leaving the top exposed?
