Oil leak on 2.5L. Where from???

There is motor oil leaking from somewhere up front on my 2.5L. It is coming from the driver side but I can't tell where yet. I am not familiar with this engine YET. Are there some know problem areas that are known for leaking oil on this engine? Covers? Injection pump? etc?

I will try to spray down the engine today or tomorrow and look, but hints for where to look may be helpful.

You need to clean the engine at the car wash first. On the left side of the engine, the likely source is the injection pump. There are 4 main seals that can leak oil. Only one is easy to replace (the one on the side of the pump). Other possible sources are the oil level sender in the oil pan, front crank seal, I/P to block seal, intake manifold gasket (turbo engines), and oil canister housing to block gasket (not common on OM60x engines).

On the other side of the engine you have the turbo, chain tensioner, oil pan extension, and head gasket as main sources...

Thanks. I am afraid it may be the IP seal (Since it looks hard to replace). I'll wash it down this evening after karate. There's a car wash across the street.
