A Coverlay wouldn't do?

Coverlay Interior Accessories Catalog - Dashboard Covers, Instrument, Door and Kick Panels

They look natural if you install them carefully

To replace the cracked blue dash on my '85 300D-T (W123) I ended up buying a crack-free black dash and painting it. Turned out good. The blue dashes seem to be especially prone to cracking, I was never able to find a good one.

Probably cheaper to get the original cracked repaired and recovered if you want to spend top money!

Otherwise German Spob will probably send you one for the price of a large house in Alaska...

Previous owner of my now-missed 87 300SDL had the blue dash replaced 4 times in its life according to the records. It was last replaced about a year prior to me acquiring it. Initial treatment of 2 stage Leatherique followed by regular applications of 3M 303 protectant kept it crack free at least until the day I sold it.

Chicago summers are no stranger to blistering heat and lots of direct sunlight. I had that car 13 or 14 years and no dash splits or cracks. The last repair on the dash was done at a dealer in SE Kentucky (where I bought the car). Figure a few minutes of time and whatever the cost of the protectant is way cheaper than $1700 (late 1990's $$$) for the dash replacement.

Good luck!
