Strange Turbo Noise

On my '82 300D, The turbo began making a new noise. There is no scraping or play. The EGR is only disconnected though. The performance has not changed.

The noise sounds like excessive boost leakage, almost like the toy ridges flex tubes kids use to mimic elephants.

Could the EGR be causing this?

Does any one know a source for the EGR delete kits?

Thanks!

See post number 4. Make a liquid bubble mix and spray it on a cold engine. Whene the Engine starts rev it to get some boost pressure. If there is an external leak of boost pressure it should bubble.
