Newbie to the 617A... what are these?
These have never been hooked up as far as Ive had it. I assume some kind of temp sensor but the other two things? I am going to order an EGR block-off kit to start cleaning it up.

On the right are vacuum connectors to the erg valve, good they aren't hooked up.
The item on the left is, I believe, a temp sensor, should have an electrical connection. WAY on the left, seems to be an ARV, (air recirculating valve) [vacuum] what year? My guess is 1985, or a Cali 84. But that can be isolated too.

Thanks. It's an 84.
I thought my temp sensor was the similar thing that is just under my glow pugs? Is there a block off plate for that ARV or should I just leave it alone? |

Depends, if the egr system has been bypassed, there is no need for the ARV to be connected.
The main computer is in the shop, don't have a pic here.

The actual temp sensor is under the glow plugs. The temp sensor near the thermostat (the middle arrow) is the axillary fan switch (i think).

The aux fan switch is in A/C system near the drier, along with the pressure switch, which is in the drier, IIRC.
