I had the same thing happen. When I searched about the IP, I found it was one notorious for trying to hack accounts. Probably a bot and doesn't know there isn't anything to gain from hacking on here.

Or they're trying to blackmail some of you. They'll hack your account and lock you out. Then they'll go around proclaiming your love for gassers, or talking about how great an idea it is to run straight unfiltered WVO. They will refuse to stop until you pay up!

I received the same message:

Quote:
Someone has tried to log into your account on PeachParts Mercedes ShopForum with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 176.10.104.240

All the best,
PeachParts Mercedes ShopForum
That IP address appears to be from a Swiss site that spammers and other illegals use to avoid being tracked.

Peachparts should be taking action to blacklist that IP.

176.10.104.240 - IP Blacklist Cloud Details

A seaarch shows that that IP has been very active recently.

Well I meant from that standpoint of a hacker. Though if the hacker bot applied itself, it could use the knowledge on here to save a lot of money on car repairs.

Ah - now I know why the traffic is so dreadful around here - the hacker bots are now driving!

I don't think Peach stores credit card data. They didn't used to but I haven't bought for a few months.
