Great, I get a chance to show off Ol' Silver again.
The Euro lights are incorrect, they came off of my '80 Euro 240D parts car. When I got her she had been converted to US lights. It has wood trim, but cloth upholstery, and aftermarket air. It was delvered in Europe originally with no air. I have a brand new set of Euro bumpers on my parts car that she will get when I do the cosmetic restoration. She's currently out to pasture, but I hope to have her back on the road this year, although that goal looks less and less possible with every passing day: Last edited by LarryBible; 05-06-2002 at 12:49 PM. |

BTW, she's a 1984, Euro 240D with manual transmission. I got her at 17,000 miles, I turned her over to my son at 453,000 miles. He was 16 at the time and his goal was to see a half million miles on her before he went off to college. He accomplished that in spite of getting some high school parking lot rash.
And here's the instrument cluster: |
