Leaking IP '99 E300
I was recently in an accident with this vehicle and finally managed to get it running again. When i first started it I noticed a small drip coming from the oil pan. Further investigation lead to me tracing the leak to the IP. Based on the photo it looks to be coming from the top of the IP where in injector lines connect. This car has 270k on it. I am thinking a rebuild is the best option. Is there a simple solution to this problem for the moment? I do not want to have diesel leaking when I drive. Could it be simple O-ring replacement on the top of the IP where these lines connect? I am not sure why this even started leaking.

It is a part external to your pump, search "delivery valve seal".

Quote:
Delivery seals will definitely leak after so many miles. This is likely a problem.
