CDI Quick Heat

Maybe it's my imagination, but this CDI seems to produce cabin heat much quicker than my W210 or my W124....quicker than the engine temp would seem to allow. Any idea how it does this?

Yes, it's great in the winter time when the engine takes 10+ mins of highway driving to reach operating temp (85-90C).

There is a electric heater booster (PTC heating element) within the dash that provides the quick heat.
