Hirschmann Antenna repair question; need help!
I have the Hirschmann Antenna out of the 1984 300DT. I'm having problems getting the antenna opened so that it can be serviced. The snaps are proving to be problematic. The following link doesn't show much information on how to actually open the unit without breaking the snaps. Any ideas?

Stick a broad flat screwdriver into the parting line adjacent to one of the snaps and turn it to generate localized parting pressure. Start at the corners first. Then, stick a small, thin, flat screwdriver into the gap directly above one of the barbs and press in hard and then down to lift the plastic bridge while pushing the barb inward. A combination of twisting the broad screwdriver in the parting line and pressing the small screwdriver inward & downward will cause the snap to pop open without breaking. If you break one it's OK, just move to the other side on the next try. Good luck!
