11/27/15 Newark CA PnP Diesels

I visited the Newark, CA PnP today (half off weekend!) and saw:

- CD cream over palomino - all glass in place, didn't look further

- '81 SD gold over palomino leather - pretty complete, clean engine, I took the downpipe and brake booster supply line

- '85 SD ice blue over blue leather - pretty complete, clean engine with trap and all Calif bits; I took the brake booster supply line and TC bolt access hole cover

- '83 Euro 300D AT white over blue fabric - IP and injectors gone, clean engine, decent Euro bumpers still on

- '93 2.5 dark gray over gray tex - major left rear hit; right front fender, engine, tranny and cooling system gone

Dang, I forget to take the quad gauge from the couple of gasser second gen 126s!

Wow, need palomino visors. Will they pull parts and ship them?

I don't think so. It's completely self-serve.

Thanks. Also, PnP's row52 website allows users to post comments. I find that useful for my 60's Mopars (much rarer), so several here help each other out when a car shows up so they don't waste time driving 50 miles. Comments like "total rust bucket", "I already took the front disk brakes".

I'll add a few local 300D's since I went to 2 PnP's this 1/2-off weekend. Antelope 1984 300D was already stripped after 2 wks - no engine or tranny, dash and console gone. Rocklin 1983 300D still had most parts (I took rearview mirror and main vacuum tube). The shift console was too bad to consider taking.

My dad's had a '65 Dart GT 273. It looked distinct from others with driving lights just inboard of the headlights. And we have a 97 GC... so there :p Do you visit allpar.com?
