1985 300D Tranny Leak Photo

It appears a significant leak originates from the 13mm bolt on the driver side of my transmission, located in the 5 o'clock position below the pressure modulator (black rubber cap, center of photo).

Has anyone else experienced this? Will a new crush washer stop the leak? What's this bolt for?
