interesting oil separator

I can't tell for sure but that looks like a remote mount oil filter serving as an oil separator -

Not a bad looking old car. And the price seems fair unless it's a REAL pig in person.

That oil separator looks like something off a production car of some sort but it doesn't look like an oil filter. Looks to me to be plastic but of course I'm just looking at a pic so....... The one on Mutt the Race Truck is a standard race car part, designed to relieve pressure but trap candensate and/or blow-by. So far I've had very little in it - it has a drain on the bottom that I open after each meet. The forum format won't let me repost the pic but it's in my build thread.
