Conductor Plate pin broke -- 1999 E300D
One of the pins on my transmission plug in the conductor plate got bent and broke off. Pin 11 that makes it shift.
My question is can you just replace the plug on the conductor plate or do i need to get a new one? That would be a shame. I have the valve body out and am looking at the plug.
Be careful replacing your adapter plug. I've done this 20 times and never had any trouble. This thing is idiot proof and has notches to go in so i'm not sure what the deal was. The febi adapter plug holes on the new part were smaller than the older mb one. Maybe some stray plastic was plugging that hole 11. Anyway, make sure all your pins are in and just don't go by the notches and the fact they all "look" in place and lined up. I didn't notice until the car wouldn't shift.
Thanks
