Is that a scratch on the right rear fender lip? It looks to be more than "nothing of any consequence." It even looks like some side trim is missing. FWIW, the seller hasn't responded to my inquiries.

a friend of mine came by with a sweet '87 300SDL today. It's anthasite with grey interior. 156K and it looks and runs great. I told him I'd trade him even for my '90 300SE.

Yep, there is definately a scrape there with the moulding missing.

It's the EXACT same injury my SDL has right now, and is the reason I'm giving it a complete respray

What moulding/trim?

The right rear fender lip looks like it's been scraped and the bit of plastic trim that matches the trim on the door is missing. At least from what I can see.

I agree the wheel arch has kissed something solid. Funny they only have one exterior shot of the left side and none of the right. Almost as if they were hiding something that got captured anyway on an interior shot.
