Nice, except for being a "car guy" he does not know how to start a MB diesel or needs valves adjusted. At 0:50 seconds' no jacket on so not very cold out he jumps in and cranks vehicle three or four compression strokes before catching, followed by what looks like unburned diesel smoke for a few seconds. Also why doesn't he replace the hood stern?

Nice video. I thought that he did a good job of describing what it's like to drive an old benz. I especially liked how he explained the thought that goes into driving in traffic with one of these old cars and how it makes you a better driver.

Watching an old Mercedes marketing video, getting drunk and then buying a car off Ebay is something that everyone on this board has probably come close to doing at one time or another.

Or rather, how one needs to do this sort of thing when not having a properly tuned older turbo 300D.

Once launched a 300d turbo is reasonably quick. i thought he emphasized its slowness a little too much.
