I'm afraid I've created a monster

The other day, the wife blurts out that she wants a turbo diesel powered g-wagon. It may, or may not be a good thing. I've still got 4 turbo diesel swap dream vehicles on MY list.

The question is, does she want a new one or does she want you to build one...

She wants me to build a modern style g-wagon with "apocalypse-proof" mechanically controlled om606. I guess I should pick up a...what is it...603 IP to get started in the right direction.

Not black. We live in Texas where there's a whole lot of sun and no real winter. Probably white or silver. I'll have to look and see what was made and show her to judge by her reaction. I've gotta take baby steps in to this. I guess it's: buy IP, buy OM606 turbo diesel, buy g-wagon. An engine sitting on a stand takes up a lot less space than a sitting car.

That sounds like a monumental undertaking

Does she want auto trans or manual? I'm thinking making an auto trans work properly in that setup would be the most complex part, especially the 722.6....which is the native transmission to a 606.

Things just got a lot easier.....potentially

Stand-alone Controllers

I'll be watching for a successful project using these controllers in combination.
