Portugues Benz taxis and diesel car pics

So we have the one more night here I'll try to get shot of the interesting cars. Personally I love how most of the guys here put later alloy wheels on their 190's: w210 wheels and what we would think of as c280 wheels etc, doesn't really matter. They really make the 190 look good

W124
For the most part, the 124's and 210's tend to be de-badged, so it is hard to tell exactly what motor they have. The taxis(all models of which w202 seem to be the most plentiful and half of which seem to be 220 cdi's and the other half are likely om604 maybe some om605's mixed in there perhaps in the wagons)
they seem to often be de-badged as well but I chalk that up to them having been rear ended and or re-painted along the last 20-30 years. You can see quite a few of the w202's that have their badges placed in not quite the right spot by the body shops. All of them again are diesel and stick shift.
On the brutal hills outside the city center the cars tend to dump smoke when bogged down after they (invariably) quickly shift to second gear.
The taxi and private drivers are pretty wild but for the most part from what I've seen, they tend to be smooth and rarely wreck.

190D, they outnumbered the 124's about 8 out of 10

190D, I only was able to capture 1:5 ish of all the 201/124(elusive) that I saw. My wife thinks I'm ridiculous and that no one gives a crap. I thought it was interesting and it makes me happy to see so many diesel benzes(did finally see my first 190E in a week today).
