Cheapest kit is $60, seems like I can cobble one together cheaper. What comes with the kit?

$60 sounds like a good price. Along with what you listed, you also get a new slot nut, thrust washer and collapsing spacing sleeve which can only be used once.

I agree. That's a good price for a kit for that job.

NOT a job you will be eager to do twice, and much easier if you have access to a hoist.

Oh and just to be sure, you are aware of the special socket for the retainer nut? You will need to buy, borrow or make one.

I did this once. It was tough without the tool. Eventually we made one. $60 for one side sounds like a good price.
