'92 OM603.971 oil cooler fittings
There is a lot of discussion here about the oil cooler hose fittings being 'welded' to the cooler. Does anyone know if this is a problem for early W140's or I imagine late 350SDL's?

I tried to remove them on my '93, gave up before risking the cooler and/or rounding the nuts (I don't have tubing wrenches that large). I'll probably try again after soaking them for a while.
Same on my '91 SDL, I believe that I have the cooler & lines from that car around here in a box, still stuck together.
