Removing blower motor from 1989 190D

Following a couple of DIY/pictorials, I am in the process of removing the blower motor from a 1989 190D. I am at the point of removing the cover from the box in which the blower resides. I have unclipped six clips: two at the top and two at each side. Are there clips on the bottom? Do I have to remove part of the firewall to free it up? I'm just not sure how to proceed. Those firewall screws are a bit difficult to access...but I removed the top two from each side so I can at least bend the firewall forward.

As I am much better at taking things apart than putting them back together, I'm trying to take the least invasive approach possible!

Finally got it. What I wasn't noticing was that the bottom clips attached in the middle front of the box, not the bottom.
