I believe that's part of the regular 30,000 mile maintenance.

Irg is correct, the interval is every 30K, however, if you don't know when it was done last, just change it to establish a base line. When I bought both of my Benzes, the first thing I did was to change all fluids and filters, regardless. This way I know when they were changed and when they are due to be changed again. The filter will run about $4. Also, the fluid to go in is not power steering fluid, it's ATF. You can use a turkey baster or a cheap siphon to get the old fluid out.

Thank you all. I think I will do it in a week or two. Checked a few places on this review seems like an easy job.

If you change the oil, replace it with Mobil One Synthetic Trans fluid. You'll have to do it a few times as just siphoning out the pump does not really get all the oil out of the system. There's still a lot in the box and hoses. Your Benz will thank you.

Why ATF?
Maybe it's been discussed before, but why do we want to use ATF and not power steering fluid?
