1985 300CD: Help IDing 2 parts

My vehicle: 1985 300CD-T (Calif.) - OM617.952 engine.

I'm looking for help identifying the two sensors (red and blue arrows) in the attached picture.

I suspect that one is the coolant temperature sensor and one is for the ignition glow system - but I'm guessing and have no idea as to which is which.

I would appreciate any clarifications as to what each part is.
