Where is the hand pump?
I can't find the hand pump for priming the injection pump and fuel filter on my 2.5L 190D.
I also can't find the off lever to shut off the car if the key doesn't work. Am I going blind?

Your vintage engine is self priming. But you should have a shut-off lever somewhere.

The little lever is usually a zinc plated, gold tinted sheet metal thing with a red decal on it. On all the cars I have had the pleasure of having to use the device, it was on the top of the outboard side of the injection pump. The decal is intended to make it more conspicuous to panic stricken operators. Good luck, Jim

Shut Off Lever
Look downb through the intake manifold to see the lever. Seems like it is between the 2nd and 3rd intake runner from the front. I've never had to use mine but it lloks like you'd want to use a pencil to push the lver down.
