Just wanted to say hello and introduce my 1987 300D

Hello all. Hope things are well. So.... where to begin. My name is Aaron and I'm from Kings Mountain, NC, USA. A few weeks ago I purchased my first diesel... MB diesel even..... 1987 300D Turbo. :) At a great deal I may add. Purchased it making zero boost but still was able to drive it home. YAY. 418k Miles. #14 Head still on it, but it did come with service records. Got it home and found the issue. Clogged cat! Runs great now. YAY. I do have one question about the car currently. Build date of 4/86. Seems kinda early to me. But anyway enough of me rambling. Hope you have a great evening.

Welcome to the forum! The 87 300D is a great car...you should have a lot of fun (and some frustration ) with it.

This forum is filled with lots of knowledgeable and helpful folks....virtually anything you might want to know about your car you should be able to find it here.

Welcome, Enjoy, and Ask Questions. Contact Thomas.Hanson@mbusa.com. About the build date.
