Issues with blower circuit. Differential diagnosis. Please help

I've been troubleshooting A/C on my 1991 300D. Seems to be intermittent.

So I started by replacing the Resistor and Blower Motor.

Still intermittent. Funny that it works for a few minutes when it is cold if I **** with the buttons on the CCU... but then it goes out not to return again until I start the car early in the 'morn.

Checking resistor connector pinout, black wire ground is there, 14V at the red wire and at the yellow wire from my understanding should be anywhere between 1-9V based on blower control on the CCU.

OK so that yellow wire pin only gives me .80V no matter what speed selected on the CCU. Also Blower Motor RUNS CONSTANTLY at a speed so low that it doesn't really "push" air at me, and it's always hot air that comes wafting from the vent....

Is this indicative of a bad CCU? Can someone confirm my diagnosis? I really want to have my A/C working

Thank you all and god bless,

Tim
