05 E320CDI Ambient Air Temp Sensor Location?
Was told that the check engine light was throwing 2 codes (don't have the actual code#s myself). 1 was the EGR. 2 was the ambient air temp. sensor. Car was in limp mode. I removed the EGR and cleaned per instructions I found here and replaced. Engine run s pisser! but the CEL is still on. Guess I need to replace the ambient air temperature sensor. I've found a part with that name from parts house but it is part of the climate control sys. I thought the CEL only related to emmission issues. Also, if indeed this is the item that needs to be replaced, can anyone tell me where it is located?
Thanks in advance.

Don't have direct experience with a 211 but most MBs of the modern era have a sensor in the bumper for the temperature display in the dash.
However, I think the engine intake air temperature is part of the Mass Air Flow sensor in the engine intake plenum. And there is likely another sensor in the environmental air intake duct for the climate control.
