evaporator seals

Im pulling out the dash on mt 85 300d to replace the vacuum pods and was wondering if the ac evaporator uses oring seals. I have to repair or replace the r4 compressor due to an oil leak so im not concerned with evacuating the system. I just want to replace the seals if they exist so I dont have to pull the dash again if they start to leak at some point.

thanks, if they are behind the glove box does that mean they can be changed with the dash in place?

Yep. Pull glovebox and the passenger side kick panel. Its a good idea to flush the entire system while you are replacing the compressor, so you can add the proper amount of oil. Theres a ton of threads about what needs to be done on this forum.
