O.K. ;

I need to pull the cylinder head and do a valve job, do I just get the new valve stem oil seals from M-B or are there any ' up graded ' ones I should look at ? .

Suggestions & P/'s please .

I have never read of any that were considered updates on this forum.

On my 84 300D I used I think it was Meistersatz Valve Stem Seals and others have used them with no issues. But that over 4 years ago.

There are two styles... one old and one new...
the old ones technically were not available for a long time...
but you should look for the upgraded ' gas lips' on your new ones....
