Vacuum woes
I have an 85 300D that has serious vacuum issues. I posted a picture of the part that I was told needs to be replaced. I don't know the name of the part but does anybody have one for sale or know how to by pass & or remedy the vacuum issues without it? Any help help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, 300dster |

It's known as the "vacuum amplifier", "vacuum transducer", or "blue UFO." I know you can bypass it, but you'll probably have to dig up a schematic to see what goes where and then you'll have to tune things a bit to get it shifting right. Earlier and later cars didn't have it.

Where are you located?
I will look to see if I still have a spare from my '87.
