The sunroof on my 87 300TD works fine until you use the pop up feature, then it opens and the motor keeps working making a gear stripping noise. Seems like it does not know when it is open and keeps on going. How do you fix that.

On the same car, the passenger head rest will go up, but not come back down, even though you can hear the motor working. It seems to be disengaged from the drive assembly. I have tried to re-engage it, but with no luck. What is the trick?

While I am at it, the rear drivers side seat belt locks for no reason. What is the fix? My 7 year old acts like it is choking him and he refuses to unbelt himself from fear of death in the event of a accident. I guess all those years of insisting on seats belts has paid off. I hope I have the same luck with smoking.
