My gears are not pink. They're white just like the ones you show from OG. Perhaps they've changed their material or vendor since then. I do know that the ones I received are the same size and tooth count as the mushy ones I pulled off.

I just noticed something else in your photos you shared. The original MB gear is a 15 tooth. The pink gears are 12 tooth. A 12 tooth gear won't mesh in a gear train designed for a 15 tooth. If those are the gears the customer ordered, they probably ordered the wrong one - their website defaults to a 12 or 16 tooth gear.
