Duluth trading Company firehose pants

Duluth trading Company firehose pants Has anyone purchased a pair of these pants? Verdict?

Not the fire hose pants, but I just got a pair of the Ball Room Jeans. They are well made, and live up to the name. :D

I've looked at them but I prefer these workpants since they are more flexible and comfortable. First saw them in Sweden last year. All the workmen wore them.

Kerry - thanks for the heads up. I will take a look at them. The only thing I know about the Duluth guys is that they have a good advertising program.

I've been to the Duluth company's main store and bought some things from them. They are good quality.

I wear the military BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) Pants in woodland or tiger strip camouflage for working on vehicles or doing stuff where they might get stained as the stains don't show up on the camo.

They have reinforced knees and rear crotch area.

I wear other colored BDUs for casual wear. (Also the waist and length size do not vary much between makers. There is 2 companies where the fit is one inch tighter in the waist. The real military ones hardly vary as to the size.)

I also have some tomes BDU coats I wear in various camo or solid colors. Again woodland or tiger stripe camo for working under the car or doing something that gets stained.
I have bought used or new ones and Chinese copies.
They are also good if your waist line fluctuates as they have pull tabs to tighten the waist.
I have a few of the newer ACUs but I don't like them as much. Some of them have pockets inside of the knee area for foam pads.

You can look up the BDU and ACU sizing charges on the internet.

The Tiger Stripe in the middle is the darkest and shows stains less.

The firehose shirt jacket I have is the same material and its very thick, likely to last 10 winters easily. Thicker than good canvas & little stiff at first but softens with use..

Great input. Thanks.
