606 idle issue
Hi all! I am finishing up a 606 swap and I am having issues with the engine to run right. Idle is rough and low, boost pressure is only 5 to 9psi. Low power!
Here is what I did so far: Adjusted the IP to 14.5 deg. ATDC Checked fuel supply and added fresh Diesel Checked inter-cooler system for any leaks Checked turbo shaft for play/wear Adjusted ALDA in and out, no difference. Is there something else I should check? Any and all help is always helpful. - Marty |

Does your car have an electronic IP or mechanical governor? Could be in limp home mode or something, or the pedal cable/rod adjustment could be out. Lack of fuel gives lack of boost too.

It is going to be something simple ,so just go over the basics before looking at the worst scenarios.
Have a read of this thread in the link below and see how it panned out from major electrical calamity to a simple fix. w210 e300 td live data - Mercedes-Benz Owners' Forums |
