W123 Back Floor Pans

I have water on both passenger floor pans, can not figure out where the water is coming from. The drivers side passenger pan water is coming from under coating puncture under the car but passenger side floor pan I have no clue because the under coating under car on that side is perfect? Thanks for any help

Your sunroof drains are probably clogged or the rubber tube has come off the nipple. Water seeks the lowest point, and that is the rear passenger foot well.

I traced the water leak to the front of the lower firewall, I removed both front seats ,passenger front floor pan in right comer at firewall is rusted through just floor pan not body structure. I am in the process of removing all the asphalt sound deadening mats. It sucks to find this I have made sure over 30 years all body drains have been attended to over the 30 years I have owned the car, cars paint is original and still looks perfect. I think it started underneath the car the pvc under coating cracked and allowed water to enter. Do you have any idea what I can use in place of the asphalt sound deadener material?

You could use Dynamat or something similar for the sound deadening.
