603 into a chevy

I had sold a 603 to a guy who is using this adapter to install it into his 1990 k10.

https://transmissionadapters.com/products/mercedes-6-cylinder-diesel-15-degree-to-chevy-auto?_pos=4&_sid=fcd0decdb&_ss=r6

I just though it maybe of value to someone.

Might be a way to get a modern five speed overdrive manual transmission into the 240ds.

Lincoln Mark VII's had a Beemer six cylinder diesel (M21) option in the mid '80's.

Thanks for the memories, that M21 was one heck of an engine, arguably one of the best diesels ever made by BMW-Steyr. The BMW Big sixes of that era were also phenomenal.

My grapevine sources tell me the '80's BMW diesels had difficulties.
