5 speed from 190E 2.6 sportline....can it be transplanted into diesel
Can a 5 speed transmission from 190E 2.6 sportline be transplanted into a a diesel mercedes w201 or even w124?

I think there's a running driving euro 240D with the factory unobtainum 5 speed listed in the classifieds for 2k right now.

There's a W201 5-speed kit for sale on and off in San Jose. Asking $2500 last time I saw it. Don't pay more than a reputable dismantler like PG Auto wants for it. Keep an eye out for complete cars.
I wouldn't pay more than this - 1992 mercedes 190E 2.6L $400 for a 6-speed and you'll get most of it back scrapping the body - 2002 Mercedes C230 Needs Engine Sixto 83 300SD 98 E320 wagon |
