Monark Shim Kits
Greetings and thanks in advance,
I am writing this for a buddy who's internet skills are simply pathetic. Here goes: He owns several MB diesels. Most are w124's, but he likes to arrange his collection at a moments notice. He is looking for Monark nozzles for his cars and has a conundrum. When looking at the catalog and the EPC he finds several kits. All of it, is in German. What is the correct diameter? Each kit comes with a variety of different shims, of various thickness. They offer a Japanese kit (7.35 MM) and German kits of 8.5MM, 9.8MM and 11.4MM. What is the proper DIAMETER for the OM 602-603 and 606 diesels? And, are any of them suitable for a OM 617 THANKS |

My order from McMaster-Carr
I do not know what Monarch's pricing is but McMaster-Carr has been widely used as a reliable source for shims for many of the most respected DYIers of this forum.
