W123 fuel tank strainer hose fitting thread pitch?
Does anyone happen to know the thread pitch of the fuel hose fitting on the fuel tank stainer? Not the outer threads of the strainer, but the inner threads where the 1164701475 fuel line screws in. Thanks!

Dont know if this will help. A leaky hose "work around" is to pry apart the brass "clamping arms" and simply replace the hose. To undo the hose have the fuel level way down then jack up the car on the right side.

Thanks, I rebuild crimped hoses all the time. I'm looking for the thread pitch for a custom filter project I'm working out in my head, and don't want to have to drain the fuel tank or order a new $13 hose just to check it.

Wait for someone to verify this but I believe it is British Pipe threads.

Thank you!
I have a strong suspicion that's the case as well. Those tricky Germans like to sneak BPT fittings in on crucial connections. |
